The Camperdown Mills
Veterans Project
Those of you who attended The Camperdown Mills Winter Reunion 2008 were able to see our first Tribute to our Camperdown Military Veterans display.
At the present time we have only three pictures of the recorded nineteen Camperdowners who served our Country during World War I, only ninety-four pictures of the recorded 219 Camperdowners who served during World War II, only four of those who served during the Vietnam era, and one from later service.
Our goal is to have photos of all Veterans associated with Camperdown. This project is to include all those who served our Nation: your ancestors from the Revolutionary War through your descendants who presently serve our Country, in times of peace and times of war; those who married into our Camperdown families; and those who were members of Second Baptist Church and Choice Street Methodist Church.

Our permanent Tribute album will contain not only photos but brief biographical information on each Veteran and Military service.
While we would prefer photos of your Veteran in uniform, any photo is acceptable. If you choose to submit a photo of your Veteran in civilian clothing, we would like to have a photo from the time period during which he served if
possible. If you would prefer a different photo from the one we presently have, you may submit a different photo.
